- This is v1.1 of the DULIB GUI library for Lattice C.
-
- See the file NEWSTUFF.TXT for additions from v1.
-
- ====================================================================
-
- SUMMARY
- --------
-
- For those of you who didn't see v1.0, DULIB is a Windowed Dialog
- Application library for GEM, which provides a great deal of support
- for callback functions, making custom widgets very easy to create.
-
- The scrolling list & Icon Popup are examples of widgets created using
- these callback functions.
-
- Check out the online help file for more info & documentation on the library.
-
- It is in ST-GUIDE .HYP format, so you need the ST-GUIDE accessory
- to view it.
-
- The EXAMPLES directory contains sample source code for using the
- various calls in the library.
-
- About DULIB
- ------------
-
- The GEM GUI as used in older applications is pretty feeble
- in this age of X Windows, MS Windows, RiscOS, et al.
-
- The API provided by GEM, although allowing you to create nice
- programs, requires a lot of effort to do it.
-
- The idea behind this library is to provide a better
- application model for programs under the Atari version of
- GEM.
-
- This was developed to provide the GUI for the CLA series of
- electronic CAD programs. The (as yet) unreleased CLAv3 will
- be the first Data Uncertain program to use this release of
- DULIB. A version for HiSoft Basic exists, but has no
- documentation files for it (and I'm not likely to write any,
- so I'm not going to release it generally).
-
- CLA is sharware, DULIB is FEELware - ie. FEEL free to send
- me some money, but don't FEEL obliged to :)
-
- Enjoy...
-
- Craig.
